It’s been quite a ride getting a working website for Anachronism going again — but thanks to the efforts of Marc Appelbaum — it’s close to happening! The new Anachronism website will be devoted to explaining the motivation behind the remaining songs and new tunes as I add them (while hoping to make a little money in the process).
I say “remaining” songs because anyone who has made the effort to follow me over the years will know that I used to promote all-of-the-albums I ever played on thinking long time guitarist and co-writer, Ron Dehart, had died (we searched high and low for him). But he lived! (As Ron informed me the day after Trump won the presidential election!?)
Since Ron and I collaborated on Evermore Mark I: The Shadow Walk; Evermore Mark II: The Widening Gyre and The Original Balance — I pulled these albums from the website when we decided we would redo all-of-the-songs and have an Evermore website to showcase them.
Waterfire: American Smile — which had also been out there for quite awhile is no longer featured either.
So my musical oeuvre has shrunk to my two, solo, piano albums and the Solterre: Where the Earth Kisses the Sun album featuring HG (Dr. Harry Grammer) and Dr. Carter Dewberry, and, two new songs: Find Your Place in the Sun and Walk With Me.
But since I am retiring from university lecturing at the end of the Semester — I hope to be adding a great deal more original music in the not-so-distant future.
For those of you who liked the heavier Evermore sound — you will find us on evermorerocks.com.
To be continued…
